PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pick-up is on Friday, June 15th from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. in the RiverPlex Recreation & Wellness Center located on 600 NE Water Street, Peoria, IL.
The Steamboat Classic will offer limited packet pick-up on Race Day, Saturday, June 16, from 5:00 to 6:30 a.m. on at the Gateway Building. NO Race Day entries!
CLOCKS/MILE MARKERS/ TIMING
- 4 Mile Run/Walk – Marker at each mile and 5km, Split time at 2 Mile and 5K
- 15K Run – Marker at each mile, Split time at 5K and 10K
- 4K Fun Run/Walk – Clock time at 1 Mile (4K Race is NOT timed)
COMPLIMENTARIES
All registered participants will receive the official STEAMBOAT CLASSIC event T-Shirt and poster. After completing the race, finishers will be treated to refreshments at the Post-Race Party at Festival Park.
RESULTS
Unofficial results will be posted online at www.steamboatclassic.org immediately after the race is completed.
AWARDS
The STEAMBOAT CLASSIC will feature awards to the top 25 men and women, and the top three finishers in each age group and Clydesdale Class. Clydesdale Class winners MUST BE PRESENT to receive their awards. The Awards Ceremony begins at 9:00 a.m. at Festival Park on the RiverFront.
PRIZE MONEY
BUD LIGHT and BREWERS DISTRIBUTING CO. are the major Open Prize Money Sponsors. More than $25,000 in prize money is offered with cash awards to the top ten open men and women. The prize money will be distributed under the auspices of USAT&F. Because of rules governing them, High School and NCAA/NAIA athletes are not eligible for prize money.
Without sponsors, prize money would only be a dream; please support our sponsors and thank them for making the STEAMBOAT CLASSIC a world-class running event!
