TRAINING PROGRAM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
IVS and the Steamboat Classic are seeking volunteers for Access Steam, Building Steam, Rising Steam and Scouting Steam. These programs are focused on introducing running and walking fitness in preparation for the Steamboat Classic. The programs are conducted concurrently for 11 weeks from the week of April 1, 2012 through the week of June 9 at the RiverPlex in downtown Peoria.
Volunteers are needed to serve as Group Leaders and Support Services.
For Group Leaders, we’re looking for people with a small amount of running experience and a large amount of passion and energy to encourage beginners with their goal of completing the Steamboat Classic on June 16, 2012!

The 38th running of the Steamboat Classic is quickly approaching. Without our many volunteers, the Steamboat Classic road race would not happen. We are in need of many volunteers again this year.
We need help in several areas:
